Amstan offers several different agent programs as described below.  Each one is designed to provide the utmost flexibility regarding the direction that you want your business to take.  And you can participate in more than one program!  

Traditional Sales Agents –
You hit the streets spreading the word about Amstan’s complete line of logistics programs to your customers.  When you find an account that is interested in any of the programs, you determine his specific needs, work with Amstan personnel to determine rates then negotiate the rates with the customer.  Once accepted, forward the signed agreement to Amstan and the customer is ready to go.  When the customer has a shipment, they simply call Amstan’s centralized Customer Service Group and provide all the shipment details.  This allows you to concentrate on selling.  We pay a commission of 5% of the linehaul revenue with commissions issued weekly for all loads handled.

50/50 Profit Split
If you already have a base of carriers and shippers then the 50/50 program may be right for you.  Your commission is 1/2 the gross profit which is defined as the difference between the total amount we bill the customer and the total amount we pay the carrier.
 We handle the invoicing, carrier payment and collections.

Direct Billing –
At times, you may want to invoice your customers to maintain your visibility with your customers.  In these instances, we just invoice you.  In turn, you add whatever profit you want to our rates and bill your customer.  This program allows you to take advantage of Amstan’s full range of logistics services without losing your identity with your customers.

Agent Recruiter –
We will pay you to locate sales agents who may be interested in signing on with Amstan.  You explain our program to them, get them to sign a contract then turn them over to Amstan.  We will pay 1% of the weekly gross linehaul revenue generated by the agents you refer.  If a referred agent generates $1 million in revenue a year, this translates into $10,000 payable to you.  If you bring in 10 agents, you are looking at $100,000 per year.  Why spend time being an agent—just be an agent recruiter!!

Reverse Agent –
You probably have contacts with transportation companies.  As a reverse agent, we tell you what we are willing to pay on a load.  You negotiate the best rate with your carriers and the difference between what we told you we would pay and what you can get the carrier to move it for is your profit.  We do not cobroker; once you find the carrier, Amstan must enter into a contract directly with the carrier.  But we will sign a contract with you protecting you from any back solicitation.  In this industry, you survive on your word.  We have never back solicited anyone and do not plan on starting now.
