LTL (under 4,000 pounds)
Amstan has divided the U.S. into 7 sections. Within each section, Amstan has a
relationship with a strong regional LTL carrier. If shipments are destined
outside the region, Amstan has carriers in place. All of our rates are based on
1989 levels which can provide your customer freight costs reductions while not
compromising service.

Partials (4,000 to 24,000 pounds)
Over 40% of the equipment on the road is not full. Amstan takes advantage of
this by offering these shipments to carriers on a load by load basis. Most times,
Amstan can secure rates lower than the prevailing truckload or LTL rate thus
offering your customer another level of freight savings. Plus your customer
benefits from reduced handlings and in many instances faster transit times.

Truckload (over 24,000 pounds)
Amstan has operated as a licensed property broker since 1987 which means that
we have a large base of financially sound and safety oriented carriers in our
program. We also have access to Amstan Trucking’s fleet of 100 tractors
pulling 53’ dry vans and 48’ and 53’ flat bed trailers. We have the ability to spot
trailers to facilitate loading or unloading.

Intermodal
Amstan has contracts with several railroads and Intermodal Marketing
Companies which enables us to provide your customers with cost saving
opportunities if they are willing to ship via rail.

Expedited Service
Amstan also has agreements in place with expediting companies if your
customers require such service.

Area of Service
Amstan provides these transportation services throughout the U.S., Canada and
Mexico. We can also handle additional international needs by providing service
throughout the world.

Transportation Services
We anticipate that starting out the majority of your customer needs will be
related to transportation services. Through the programs described in the
following paragraphs, Amstan has the ability to move 1 pound up to a full load.
