Shipment Routing & Scheduling
You provide Amstan with your orders and we determine the best method of shipping. We have contracts in place with carriers that handle all types of freight - from one piece to full truckloads. We then coordinate the pickup or delivery with your warehouse personnel to ensure that the trucks are there when needed
Shipment Tracing & Proof of Delivery
We have on-line tracing capabilities with the majority of our carriers, which enables us to tell you the exact location of your shipment. And we can obtain signed delivery receipts when needed.
Claims Filing & Processing
Although this is a very rare occurrence, if a shipment is lost or damaged, we file the claim with the carrier on your behalf.
Freight Bill Auditing & Payment
We also offer freight bill auditing and payment either as a part of the Freight Management Program or as a stand alone program. Each bill is audited against the carrier's tariff to ensure you pay only what you have contracted to pay.
One Invoice & Customized Reports
At Amstan, you receive one invoice which details your charges for that particular week and supported with all backup detail. We can design other reports to fit your particular needs, be it freight savings, carrier performance tracking, claims experience, carrier usage, etc.
